2013 Post 11: Media Language - Lighting 1 (Shape & Texture)

Following our lesson on Film Noir and an introduction to lighting create a post for your blog leading the examiner through what you have learnt.

• Introduce the idea of creating a style for your short film and that lighting is one way that you can do this.
• Illustrate your understanding by using images and video that you have found yourself.
• Ensure that you cover and explain with examples the terms that you have been introduced to.
• Introduce, insert and discuss your video for shape and texture.
